The Store is OPEN!

Yes I’ve finally gotten around to updating my store and adding more items, including 2015 calendars! All of the artwork listed is one of a kind, so please don’t add more than one to the shopping cart (apparently they don’t have an option where I can fix that – ugh!) I’ll add more art as I can – need to get rid of this giant inventory so I can make new things! Here’s the link (think Christmas, birthdays, etc!!):

Also, if you’re a Pinterest kind of person, I uploaded a ton of artwork there as well.  Start pinning!!

New paintings – hooray!

I’ve been dabbling in watercolors and ink and pastels – oh my! Having lots of fun experimenting, but also gearing up for the 5th Annual Super Amazing Art Show and Sale! (August 23, 3-8pm at 537 Jackrabbit Trail, Durango, CO 81303) Here are a few that I painted yesterday (crazy busy day!!) To view all of my recent paintings, visit my website

After a long pause, I heard a quack.

So after a break of at least two years (I think?), I’ve finally painted another duck! This is one for the Animals of Ireland series that I like to call “Filthy Fowl”. A dirty duck that was running around on the grounds at Bunratty Castle. I painted him last weekend at the Durango Open Studios at DurangoSpace. I’ll be there again this weekend (I’ve almost finished a female mallard and will be working on her sister). I’ll be painting this year’s Christmas card as well if I get around to it (sneak peak!!). Saturday & Sunday, 11-5.

Elephants in time for the show

Posted on

Last night I finished my final piece for my show opening this Saturday, called “Maliha & Ellie”. It’s two elephants from the St. Louis Zoo. I’m pretty happy with this one (and elephants are hard to paint by the way!) This gives me 24 pieces that will be up from July 17 – Aug. 25 at the Sideshow Gallery & Emporium in Dolores, CO. Join me Saturday for the opening, from 5-8pm.
